Hamburg operates one of Germany’s main fruit import ports. Construction of a semi-automated climate-controlled shed has strengthened Hamburg as one of Europe’s leading fruit logistics locations. Imported citrus fruits are handled at the O’Swaldkai multi-function terminal, with banana handling having priority there.

Giving the green light.
Among the main features of our logistics activities are cargo checks for citrus fruits on arrival, both on the conveyor belt in the temperature-controlled shed but also on reefer containers.

We observe international standards in checking produce for our customers and accurately identify any deviations from the quality required.

A complete service – whatever the brand.

Our reporting system ensures immediate facts, especially for the importer and guarantees accurate diversion of the doubtful goods. These are then "repacked for good condition" as part of a reconditioning process.
